RE/THREAD - A TRAIL OF GIANT SEQUINS
Artreach set a brief for an illustrative window design that would be used to frame the sequins made by 1000 local Leicester children, to encourage the reuse of textiles in a joyous way!
The design concept was to highlight the importance of community, illustrating long arms that thread together Leicesters textile history with our modern society. The illustration was painted onto windows using stencils, and displayed across 10 different arts and cultures venues.
